Types of Configuration Space

What is the difference between Type 0 and Type 1 configuration spaces?

Hello,

Type 0 configuration space always belongs to endpoints. As a matter of fact, the PCIe spec defines an endpoint as an entity having a Type 0 configuration space.

All the rest, that is the root port, bridges and switches have type 1 configuration headers.
