Good tutorial! Is there a way to check if RC supports P2P?

Is there a way to check if RC supports P2P? (Intel Xeon platform). I can't find any material specifing this. Thanks advance.

Hello,

Even though the PCIe spec doesn't require a root port to support peer to peer transactions, I keep hearing that people have managed to use it on their PCs. So I suppose the odds are good.

The only way I can think of to check if your RC supports peer to peer is attaching two FPGA boards, and try to make them talk. Or one FPGA board with some other PCIe device with a known behavior. That's a bit of a project of its own, I suppose.

Doesn't Intel's manual say this explicitly? They have these ultra-thick documents packed with all the gory and boring details.
