Running Xillinux on Zedboard with TOOPERS SafeJ

Postby Guest »

Hello,

On my Zedboard I put TOPPERS SafeJ wich is a dual-OS monitor designed to concurrently execute a bare metal application in TrustZone and Linux in NTZ at the same time.
It works with the Linux that came on the original SD card but when I am trying to use Xillinux the last line, on the serial, when it tries to boot it is:
Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
I think the problem is somewhere in the .dts file but I am not sure, or how to solve the problem.

Best regards,
Guest

Hello,

This is hardly related to Xillinux. What I can see from your description is that the kernel didn't really start. This is probably more about getting SafeG configured correctly than Xillinux' kernel, so I would suggest trying getting help from the guys behind that project.

I should mention that different kernels versions are kicked off in slightly different ways, for example which register should point at what when the kernel's entry point is jumped to. Maybe there's a difference there. Either way, the SafeG guys are probably those who can assist you best.

Regards,
Eli
